All My Friends
On air: Sunday from 6pm - 7pm
Hosted by: Vesta
With an emphasis towards the electronic side of things, All My Friends will highlight the music my friends are and have been making in NYC and curating a fresh selection of the sonic and interpersonal two degrees of separation that I find present at many shows in the city. This broadcast will layout the interconnected network of the NYC music scene, through space and time, and will hopefully give you some new local artists and venues to keep tabs on or maybe wish you'd seen at a few years earlier...
About Your Host
Vesta Weed is an illustrator, animator and graphic designer who can be frequently found at a show in Brooklyn (occasionally LES) drawing the band live while they play. Her Parsons 2026 thesis film highlighted the voices of artists like Nancy Whang, Nation of Language and NORY as voice actors for animated instrumental characters telling the very story of being a musician in NYC. Sonically, Vesta leans towards the electronic, indie, and post-punk influenced sounds of the early and mid 2000s. She hopes to be working in the music scene for ever and ever!Hit Their Line
