Radiologic investigates 80s music by examining its influences (e.g. politics, cult & popular media, previous decades) as well as the era’s continued relevance into the modern day. The name comes from Cold War technology and likens the widespread (radiating) effect many genres of the 80s had on those that would follow suit. Thus, I pair 80s songs with picks that are neighboring sonically, thematically, and/or conceptually.
